Designed, built and tested the control system for an indirect drier. The drier is part of an overall plant upgrade for US Filter.

Reconfigured MODICON control system to better manage the pilot and flame control. Obtained access rights from ZINK the flare manufacturer.
 
           
   

Cape May County

Landfill Gas Control System

  
 Design, programmed and built the complete control system for the extraction of landfill gas and its distribution to both heating boilers and flare. This project included the direct hire of the installation electrician.
 
           
    CME Associates/Elizabeth Joint Meeting, Elizabeth, NJ   Assisted the engineer and owner to revamp and start-up the Symax central control system for their sludge pelletizer. This project is ongoing into the summer of 2001.  
           
    Firmenich, Plainsboro, NJ   Designed and scheduled to construct a multi-tank inventory control system using the ABB Freelance 2000 system.  
           
    GAF Corp   A few projects:
Integrate, design and build a complete VFD and digital drive control system for one of their production line calender roll automated gap control.
The complete design, programming and fabrication of one of their ribbon roof manufacturing line’s automated control and data management system. This project included the fabrication of a multi-motor, 480VAC, 3 phase starter panel.
Mechanical and electrical/control system design and implementation for a slot die extrusion system and associated ancillary equipment to manufacture a new roofing product.		  
           
    GAF Material Corp , Erie, PA   Mapped out via P&ID and designated critical temperature monitoring points to reduce product waste on their roof membrane line. Scheduled to incorporate these devices and control into their existing A-B central control system.

Canal Road Pumping Station

  A CDM design, worked with the engineer to finalize design and system functionality. Designed, built and commissiond the control system.  
           
    Joint Meeting of Essex and Union Counties  

A few projects:
Designed and implemented the complete upgrade of their HMI system for the Dewatering and Pelletizing Facility. This project utilized Intellution communicating with SquareD SyMAX controllers.
In conjunction with CME Associates, we are in the process of developing a plant wide SCADA system interconnected by an optical cable communication network.

Design of the distributed video surveillance and future plant wide SCADA system network backbone.

  
           
    Lakewood MUA, Lakewood, NJ   Designed, fabricated, and installed a multi-tank inventory control system that controlled wells and tank levels over a municipal wide basis.  
           
    Lakewood MUA, Lakewood, NJ   Designed, fabricated, and installed a multi-tank inventory control system that controlled wells and tank levels over a municipal wide basis.  
           
    Lockheed Martin   Complete reconstruction of the Allen-Bradley PLC based control system for a ground water contamination remediation water extraction, treatment and re-injection plant. The HMI is RSView based.  
           
    Mendham WWTP   System Integrator for a complete plant centralized Allen-Bradley SLC PLC control system. Included DO, pH, level, and pressure field mounted instruments along with the integration of the old alarm and process monitoring system with the new.  
           
    MERCK and Co.   A few projects:
On going project of inventorying and validating the in place field mounted instruments. Project requires researching and cataloging over 18,000 individual instruments.
USP Sub-loop Project: Design support, detail design specification development, fabrication of the system control, programming, testing and validation support.
Control system design for a new process to manufacture an AIDS virus vaccine.		  
           
    Middlesex County Utility Authority   Acting as Owner Supplied Programmer (OSP) for their 5 train sludge drying facility. This requires the development of all the detailed functional descriptions, programming of the 10 PLC’s, and 10 OIT’s along with the all of the HMI and reporting development. The HMI system has 6780 tags and is iFIX based.  
           
    North Bergen MUA   A few projects:
Design and full implementation of the Woodcliff, 8th Street PS and 61st Street PS SCADA systems based on Allen-Bradley processors. The communication path utilizes a 4 wire full duplex voice grade line. Supervisors dial in remotely using PC emulation software.
Complete reconstruction of the 61st Street pump station control and emergency power back up system after an auto accident destroyed the station. This contract was conducted on an emergency basis. Morehouse acted as general contractor to complete the work quickly.		  
           
    Ocean County MUA   A few projects:
Central Plant Effluent Pumping Station: Implemented consultant’s design to build a pump station control system. This system is triggered by a high flow condition which will then divert flow into storage tanks.
Northern Pollution Control Facility, System Integrator for the entire plant monitoring and control system. Included 7 MODICON PLC control nodes all communicating on a MODBUS + protocol. All plant Joint Meeting of Essex and Union Counties: Design of a plant wide fiber optic backbone with a forty camera Ethernet networked digital camera surveillance system.control strategies were conducted through these PLC’s.
Coordinated, configured, installed, and started power management and emergency power control system for the CWPCF.		  
           
    ORTEC International New York, NY   An artificial skin manufacturer required the design and fabrication of a data logging and recording system for 52 incubators.  
           
    Parsippany Troy-Hill Utility   Support engineering, design and build a completely integrated distributed control system for a 14.5 MGD Water Treatment Plant Upgrade. This project is using Allen-Bradley processors, DeviceNet, ModBus, and EtherNet network protocols, and fiber and wire communication

Philadelphia, PA

  Acting as SCADA and network system design consultant for the design of a major wastewater treatment plant upgrade. US Intec, North Branch APP Roofing Line Winder and Accumulator design and system upgrade. Mechanical, electric, and control disciplines were covered under our scope.  
           
    Sika Corp   Consult, design and build upgraded process control systems for various production streams, including assisting in their development of an internal plant floor network systems  
           
    Township of Middletown Sewerage Authority   A few projects:
Design and implementation for their remote station monitoring system. This system is a Bristol Babcock 3305 based system. We were able to utilized the Sixnet self dialing modem to allow the Authority to only poll each pump station 2 times each day because the modem will dial out on any alarm.
Continued our work to fully implement the service area SCADA system.		  
           
    Turnkey Landfill   as a sub-consultant to SCS Engineering, designed a complete landfill gas control system associated with an electric power generation station.  
           
    US Intec/GAF Materials Corporation   Provided detailed design for bidding purposes for the high tolerance "doctor" blade system, the line tension control mechanism, and the backing tape dispenser.  
           
    Western Monmouth MUA, Englishtown NJ   A few projects:
Continued our work fabricating and starting up a multi pump station SCADA system using Bristol-Babcock RTU’s and dial up modems.
Continued support of the Authority's dial up phone based SCADA system interconnected by an optical cable communication network.
Bristol Babcock, Wonderware HMI, Allen-Bradley PLC-5, dial-up Centrex communication to 28 remote pump stations. We provide support, upgrading, troubleshooting, screen development, and programming		  
           
    WorldWater Corp   A few projects:
Supported the design and then built the control and 300 AMP power system for a 250HP pump, using a dual source system, one source was conventional 480VAC, 3 phase utility, the other was 550VDC solar electric. As part of this project a switching DC/AC combiner box was developed to allow the solar source to switch between feeding a power inverter to the 250HP VFD pump drive.
Developed a SMART card reading system and water flow meter to allow local water dispensing in rural poor areas of the world. Six solar powered prototypes were installed in the Philippines the summer of 2001.
