HMI Design:

Morehouse Engineering, Inc. (MEI) has a vast experience in HMI disign Our screens clearly present the operation of the process so that the operator can effectively use the system.

In one of our recent projects a large wastewater treatment plant had gone through a major process train upgrade. The distributed control system and the HMI workstations did not perform to the requirements of the contract. Morehouse Engineering was assigned the task of reviewing the programs within the processors, correcting the functionality, upgrading the HMI platform, revising the HMI screens to better serve the operators, and securing the operation of the redundant network loop that had not functioned correctly since its installation. Morehouse Engineering successfully completed the tasks. As a result of our work, the client has retained the firm to offer long term support for their entire instrumentation and control system.

Visualization operations seldom stand alone today. Integration with other plant information systems and increasingly complex tasks are making a total solution approach a more common choice.
